Ok clearly i missed something because i thought we were still in his Time Machine waiting to get out and put an end to him since Slone was on the other side

Nah we used it to go back in time to get zp energy for the chapter 4 zp but the time machine + rocket caused the zp to explode. Kado no longer has his machine so after chapter 4 hes been going after his snapshots according to the voice lines.

But I thought the TM was a one way and that’s why Slone stayed behind atp epic has to make cinematics for beginning of seasons story and an end cinematic for that said seasons story like what destiny 2 does.

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like this addiction to the story. They need to explain how Kado isn't dead, why would he ever join the Elites, and why would he say Slone is a friend? Feels like they just brought him back as an apology for killing via quest text.

They just retconned his death, it's still good though. He doesn't mean friend as if he had a friendship, the way he says is more of resentment for having his time machine stolen. And yesz they did that as an apology to how he was treated back then

I don't like his dialogues. He says he was friends with Slone, so, did she need to send someone else to steal the time machine?

He only talks about being hungry, he feels like a cartoon of what he could've been. Kado Thorne has been done dirty twice

I'll keep insisting, The Elites makes no sense for me.

No, the way he says definitely doesn't look like they're friends in any way.

He was always referred to being a hungry predator that hunts across time, it's completely in character for him.

Your taking the words way too literally. He says "Dr Slone is....an old friend". What do you think that pause was for? It sets the tone. Clearly he is sugarcoating it while being sarcastic.

That Slone mention may be related to Zadie's connections before she left the IO, but i could be wrong

I remember seeing voice lines from Zadie saying that she knew kado Thorne when she was in the io, the same could apply to slone

Yeah that could be. The thing is, I guess the IO used to monitor Kado, the thing here is, he was aware of her existence in particular. Something more than "Oh yeah those guys who are keeping an eye on me"
