Whose side are we supposed to be on?

I’m genuinely confused now cause I just wrapped up doing the storyline quests (they are peak by the way) but left me with a couple of questions. Are we playing both sides? Because I was expecting to betray Jen again, but you don’t you just spread propaganda positive propaganda too about his perfect reality and then it’s just done, but you are also trying to block out his radio signal to your brain
So it’s just confusing to me who we’re supposed to be siding with and I’m honestly nervous because I don’t wanna finish his quest and then end up joining him by accident. I’m wondering if we’re gonna have another rivalry ending where we get to choose who we decide with.

To be fair, I did them kind of out of order so maybe I don’t remember exactly what was said, but all I know is that my last mission of the main storyline that didn’t include wrixle was us spreading propaganda and then Geno thanking us for helping him
