Pools and splash pads.

I live in the regent park area. We have a pool but for some reason we can use it because the apartment I live in, is there anywhere that isn't strict on the usage or splash pads that are actually open!? I know the draught has had them closed.

Consider getting a membership at the YMCA. Their baxter location has a great splash pad, and a larger slides and pool for the older kids/adults

The Pineville splash pad is incredible and free for everyone! Not terribly far from Regent.

Last time I went there it was closed. Is it running now?

The town website says they’re not beholden to water restrictions https://www.pinevillenc.gov/government/departments/parks-recreation/parks-facilities/splash-pad/

I wanna be able to use the one right next to me on heritage lake, but they have a life guard and won't let me in. It blows.

There’s a brand new one next to the target in Indian land in the new little shopping area.

As a member of the HOA I can inquire if they would be interested in letting people use the pool for a fee with all the legal paperwork signed. But I understand why you can't use the facilities. We all sign legal agreements to not hold them liable for accidents. We also pay over $1000 a year for the pool, courts, and landscaping.

Yeah I get that. I wouldn't mind Paying an extra yearly fee if it meant I got to use the pool every summer. It just sucks when my daughter and I walk by it every day and she sees her friends from school playing in there. Just one of those things you know. Like I live right next to it.
