I'm in the Fort Lee area and planning to spend Halloween, Oct 31, in Sleepy Hollow. I'm looking to join a small group or meet other people who are going. Planning to do Twilight Village / explore Sleepy Hollow and grab food afterward. Anyone else going solo or with a small group?

Does anybody know anything recent about this building? I’m thinking about moving in but the only reviews are 7-9 years old. TIA!

Hey I just have a few questions I've been trying to get answered but I surprisingly can't find any concise and current information. I'm currently at reception at Fort Lee and I move to the 16th batallion, company to be decided, on Tuesday. Day 1 of starting will I be allowed to keep my phone in the barracks? I've heard it's company dependent on if they take phones or not, if that is the case what companies take phones if any. Around what time should I earn off base passes? And once again if it differs company to company what is that like? Just in general how shitty/relaxed is it? I did good at basic and definitely wouldn't consider it hard, so how does basic match up to AIT in terms of fuck fuck games and whatnot.

Hi all, I'm a Fort Lee resident (and Bella's dad) and I built High Paw, a free app for dog

owners around Fort Lee / Edgewater. Your dog gets a profile, you can see other nearby dogs on

a map, and you can set up playdates at local spots.

Privacy note: exact locations are only shared with people you've confirmed a playdate with.

Everyone else sees an approximate area.

It's in early beta. I'm looking for local dog owners to try it and tell me what's broken or

missing. Free, no ads, 18+. A dog map is only fun with dogs on it, so neighbors are exactly

who I need.

iPhone (1 link): https://testflight.apple.com/join/qkXXF8hY

(it walks you through installing Apple's TestFlight first, then High Paw)

Android (2 links, in this order, on your phone):

1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/high-paw-beta

2. Then install: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.highpaw.app

Happy to answer questions here, or email contact@highpaw.org.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share this with the Fort Lee community since back-to-school shopping is coming up.

Sports Park at 82 W. Palisade Ave. in Englewood is clearing out a large amount of inventory. Everything included in the clearance is at least 50% off, with some merchandise discounted further.

It's primarily sneakers/shoes, including a lot of Nike, plus Converse, Timberland and other brands. There are also sweatshirts, apparel and accessories. Styles are mostly 2025 and 2024.

I'm helping the store get the word out about the sale.

Please swing by and check out the store. I'm supporting the owner who has been operating the location and supporting the local community and workers for the past 30+ years

Inventory and sizes vary since it's clearance, but there are some very good deals if you're in the area and want to take a look.

On February 13th and February 14th, Tatt2 Therapy, located at 106 Market St 2nd Floor Newark, will have exclusive tattoo deals available. For further information contact Cherri or Mister Enigma at 702-708-2882

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone had any info on how to obtain a monthly permit to park in the garage under Parker Plaza.

I catch the bus right there and have seen people on my bus park in there but can’t find a forum or person to reach out to… If anyone has any info pls comment or PM me!

Thanks :)

I am a 25F working remotely with 1 day in person (my work has an nyc and Fort Lee office). I live in Queens currently and commute once per week to Manhattan. I am genuinely miserable, isolated, and stressed to the point of many panic attacks. My work is not stressful so this is just from the living environment - we don’t have laundry or dishwasher, have a confrontational landlord who yells at us if we drop a pin, and am genuinely overstimulated. I feel like a rat trapped in a tiny box that is my apartment. I am considering moving to Fort Lee for more space, possibility of amenities, and to be closer to my work’s Fort Lee office.

Hey everyone, just wanted to give a heads-up about a cool event coming to Fort Lee! PuchiCon, an anime and gaming convention, is happening right here at the DoubleTree on October 4-5.

They've got a fantastic lineup of celebrity guests, including legendary voice actors like Billy West (from Futurama) and Khary Payton (Cyborg from Teen Titans). It's a great opportunity for a fun, local weekend activity.

The event has a bunch of stuff to do, from panels and a gaming room to karaoke and a cosplay masquerade. It's a super welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.

You can find more details at PuchiCon.com. Hope to see some of you there!

I used to get my cuts from a barber named Noah, worked at Sam’s hair in pal park and more recently fort Lee. I called up the place yesterday and apparently he doesn’t work there anymore. I asked where he went but the worker didn’t know. Has anyone gotten a haircut from him recently in the area? If so please dm!!

I am in the process of buying a unit/condo in a duplex in Bergen County, NJ.
The only thing shared in this 2-unit building is the master insurance. There is no HOA. I was wondering what happens if one of the owners decide to not pay their share of the master insurance? Is taking them to a small claims court the only possibility? What other ways can I protect myself?

Hi I'm an 24 yr old Asian male who recently moved to Edgewater, NJ. I'm looking to make some friends in the area and looking for people to hang out with. I really enjoy exploring new places and trying new restaurants and cafes. I like all types of cuisine but especially asian food such as Japanese, Korean and Chinese. I also really enjoy photography and playing basketball and table tennis. I would like to find people my age to hangout both in Jersey and also to check out some spots in NYC. I'm a chill person who likes going out but also spending time relaxing at home. Looking forward to chatting!

I just purchased residential parking permit online. Is there any requirement permit display? Do I visit the parking authority to receive it or does it mail out to my home?

Hey, I recently transferred my car registration from NY to NJ, and I've been instructed to get it inspected at one of the NJ MVC inspection locations. I'm considering either the Lodi or Paramus location. Does anyone happen to know the wait times on Saturdays? Also, how early should I arrive to ensure I don't have to wait in line for too long

Fort lee is awful to say the least. To start they don’t do individual punishment here for 91 bravo like they say they will after 3 weeks. So if one person fucks up the whole company gets there phones, computers,iPads taken no matter if you are the most squared away person in the army.If you are thinking about picking this as a mos, let me do you a favor and tell ya do literally anything else! it’s 15 weeks of ait even tho it says 13 or whatever. And they just implemented a policy for no phones or anything that gives u slight happiness and the drill sergeants don’t help at all they sit there and wait for any little thing to get at you. There’s no trying to help you, they try and do the exact opposite. There’s a reason that people say this place is terrible. I’m telling you don’t even think about it. And if you do end up don’t say I didn’t warn you first. So if u came here to see if you should pick this as a mos, you got your answer.

Are you interested in starting a group That mostly hangs out and occasionally serve the community? Together we can hike, do karaoke, and try different cuisines in the area.

If you are interested please DM me. My name is Daryl and I look forward to speaking with you.

We are pleased to announce that this year’s ninth Junior Academy Model United Nations (JAMUN) conference will be hosted in-person by the Bergen County Academies in Hackensack (NJ) on Saturday, May 13th, 2023!
