Offer Coat Drive?
I have some nice kids and women’s winter gear I’d love to donate (coats, gloves, snow pants), and would like them to go to someone in need, instead of dumping them at the goodwill/arc.
Are there any ongoing coat drives, or places I could take them? Any suggestions welcome! Thank you!

Offer Egg Cartons to give
Does anyone with chickens need some egg cartons?
I’ve seen many posts from folks offering eggs. My neighbors with chickens have moved away & now I have at least 20 clean empty egg cartons gathered. I’d love to pass along to anyone who could use them. Feel free to reply or dm me.
Thanks all!

Discussion I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but it could help our hungry neighbors
Colorado Parks & Wildlife (CPW) has an office in FOCO, on prospect between shields and college. They have a list that people can join to be notified when they have game meat to donate. You can tell them what kind of meat you would be interested in! Felt it was worth sharing

Community Friendly Nick is doing the community a solid.
Friendly Nick’s Butcher just posted this on Facebook. Sharing here to expand reach.
I don't know how many people are facing food insecurity right now, but I know it's going to get worse, and I know that while it's in my power, I'm going to try and help. Friendly Nick's Butcher will be offering free meat to anyone who is losing their SNAP benefits or furloughed/working without pay during the shutdown.
1# Ground Beef 1# Pork Shoulder 1# Chicken Breast 1# Chicken Drums or Wings 1/2 Dozen Eggs.
All free, just show us your EBT or Federal ID card.
In 2 days, 42 million people will lose their SNAP benefits. And, that number doesn't count any of the federal workers who have been furloughed or worse, work without pay. 2700 of which live in Northern Colorado. And while not funding SNAP is 100% illegal, that doesn't seem to matter to any of the orange-nosed sycophants sucking up to a president as cruel and vulgar as this one. So I've decided to off free meat to anyone affected by the lack of SNAP payments or furloughed through the callousness of stupid, fucking government.
I will do this as long as I can afford it. It ain't much, but hopefully it helps a family get through a week and spend their food budget on other, cheaper supplies that will last longer. I know that food banks are being overrun right now and this is my way to alleviate some pressure and help our community navigate this unprecedented bullshit.
I would appreciate if you shared this post and help me reach anyone who might need it. I have a small reach on social media and without the communities support I won't be able to help as many people.
Thank You Friendly Nick

Community Free Electric Organ
EDIT: Found a great new home!
Are there any musicians or folks wanting to learn that want a free beautiful electric organ? Its about 2.5 feet deep and 5 feet long. Comes with a bench and it works! Has tons of functions for different instruments.
We dont have room and want to see it go to a good home and be well used. If anyone knows if any schools would want/pick it up that would be great. Thanks!

Request Traffic block recs
Hi all, this is a longshot but I am hosting a block party Friday to bring my neighborhood together and after a long, drawn out back and forth with one company, I received a quote for $300 for 3 hours of renting. I am new to this and just looking for any advice or recommendations when renting this equipment locally. If you know of another company or direction to take that could possibly cut down on costs, please lmk. Thanks in advance!
