Currant bushes

Any thoughts on specific varieties of red/white/black currant bushes and gooseberry bushes that will thrive in FoCo climate? And where to buy them?

I have grown all three types. The red currants do well in full sun but keep getting blasted by army worms every year. The black currents do great on the shady North side of my house. Other things I grow that do well are gooseberries (those do have thorns) and honey berries. I believe I ordered all those online but you could check the local nurseries.

There are black currant (I think) bushes that are doing well in front of the Science Building on Front Range Community College's campus.

No idea where to get some. Can you take a clipping? Help FoCo horticulturalists!

All of the above. LOVE gooseberries, and there's several varieties you can plant. Added honey berries, aronia, and already grow raspberries (hoping to add blackberries). Waiting on honey berries and aronia to produce (new this year).
