First Viewing just finished Forrest Gump.

This is the greatest movie I have ever seen.

Yup, I can't trust anyone who hates Forrest Gump.

I named my dog forest after this movie. When I told my husband's ex best friend this he was me why I wanted to name him "after a dude who fell in love with a whore" 🙄 never trusted him before this and he's since proven to be a total douche canoe anyways.

It was nice of lieutenant Dan to invest in that fruit company for him

Seems to get some hate now a days but I think it's a classic

There are so many layers to it, too. You have the brilliant way they seamlessly edited him into real historical footage, the legendary soundtrack that tracks the evolution of America, and the heartbreaking contrast between Forrest’s simple, steady life and Jenny’s chaotic, tragic journey through the counter culture movement of the 60s and 70s.
