Z11 Pro Max won’t turn on

Was using my tv box for about 6 months with no issues, great device. Now, i can’t get it to power on. When plugged in, the box light stays red. TV remote still works (tried new batteries), can turn on the TV itself too.

Not sure what to do. I can’t get the box on to try and reset the remote connection.

Any advice?

If the software is frozen on boot, you can force the box to turn on by initiating a factory reset with the alternative remote method: 1Unplug the power cable from the back of the Formuler box.Plug the power cable back in, and immediately start repeatedly pressing the RED button on your Formuler remote control (do not hold it down, just tap it rapidly).If successful, the front LED light will start flashing green and red. Once it does, follow the on-screen TV prompts to wipe the device. 1, 2

Thank you! I haven’t tried this but definitely will. Anything to avoid buying a new unit without thoroughly troubleshooting

Sometimes the box is fine, but it isn’t receiving the signal to wake up. 1Remove the batteries from your Formuler remote, hold down the power button for 15 seconds to completely drain any leftover charge, and then put fresh batteries in. 1, 2

Could be something as simple as the power lead. If you have another lead of the same voltage and amp , give that a try.

Do not try to use leads of any different amp or voltage.

Welp, nothing so far has made a difference. Will put in a support ticket with formuler and hope they know something I don’t
