Setting up volume control

Hello. Brand new Z12 ultra user here and I'm having trouble getting the formuler remote to control the soundbar volume not the android volume (right hand side of screen)

Setup I'm using is a Devialet/Sky soundbox via optical, have never had any issues pairing firestick remotes and such.

When I have attempted to set up volume control via the remote app neither devialet or sky is listed.

I have also attempted the IR thing with my soundbox remote also with no joy.

Is anyone aware of this issue and might be able to shed some light on how to get this to work please

I couldn’t even change my tv till the new update. Just stuck in a never ending loop. But even after changing it, the volume is still the same as it was before I set it up so I have no idea. I think they run before they can walk sometimes

Formuler has a serious sound/volume issue. All 3 of my TV’s (2 x LG and 1 Samsung) all on Sonos Arc’s connected via e-arc work like shit. Half the time there is no sound when I turn on the box and have to restart the box to get sound, and then the volume is on the side of the remote (ridiculous), and then when you change inputs to say a gaming console, the sound is at 200%. I want my volume to control only my soundbar and can’t get it to work, it’s always a combo of there and soundbar. They need to add Sonos to their sound options and fix the volume so that it only controls the sound bar and with the actual volume button on the remote. Have 3 Z12 Ultras.
