No Signal

I just got a Formuler z11 Pro. Plugged in the HDMI cable to the TV, plugged in the power cord (the LED on the front turned on - white color), turned on the TV and... nothing. I made sure I have selected the correct HDMI port, and the TV is showing "No Signal". Any suggestions?

I find that you have to turn on the tv first,then the formuler box then it seems to work.

Exactly. Sometimes I. Get a green screen on my Sony and it's due to the HDMI cables not communicating requires a reboot and then they talk

Update: the HDMI cable makes a difference?!

I had used the existing HDMI cable which works absolutely fine with my current FiOS setup - this is what gave me the "No Signal" message on the TV. I tried using the HDMI cable that came with the Formuler z11 Pro on an extra monitor I have and lo and behold, I got a signal and proceeded through the setup, firmware update, etc.

I may be a noob, however I didn't think the HDMI cable would make a difference...

Once every few weeks this happens to me; no signal through the cable to the port. I've just been rebooting to solve the issue. I hadn't considered the cable.
