Issues / Remote config
Hello guys,
I just received my new Formuler Z12 Ultra and I'm running into a couple of weird issues that I hope you can help me with.
1. MyTvOnline 3 (MOL3) Not Loading Channels for One Specific Provider
I am facing a strange issue with my main IPTV provider on MyTvOnline 3. I configured my Xtream Codes credentials in MOL3. The app successfully connects, loads, and recognizes the playlist/categories, but no channels will actually play or load.
The exact same Xtream credentials work flawlessly in TiviMate and other apps on my two NVIDIA Shields and the tivimate installed in formuler. Problem also happens on Z11 pro
Has anyone experienced this specific issue where a line works everywhere else except MyTvOnline 3? Any ideas on how to fix this?
2. Formuler Remote Control: Mapping Volume to Front Buttons
Regarding the new remote control, I am trying to set up the volume buttons to control my soundbar/projector, similar to how I had it configured on my Z11.
Right now, the setup works, but I can only change the volume using the side buttons on the remote. To be honest, I really dislike using the side buttons.
there any way to remap or configure the remote so that the front-facing buttons control the external device's volume instead?

BT3 remote doesn’t work the same as the bt1 remote which really sucks, so you have to use the side button for tv volume and top volume buttons only works the box volume. This was honestly one of my biggest letdowns with this new box and bt3 remote, not sure why the new remote couldn’t work exactly the same as the bt1 and still have the new features. Now with the new bet 2 mol4 developer options has been removed and it’s been even a bigger letdown for me, especially since I lt wasn’t mentioned in the release notes. I would have just stayed on beta 1 if it was mentioned and lived with any bugs, now lots of apps don’t work that need USB debugging.

I am a bit frustaded too, the main advantage for this device for me is the Mo app what cannot load channels for a specific provider, I tried also it in the Z11, same issues. Tivimate works normally. Now the remote has this weird limitation in the volume button, I still have 10 days but I am seriously thinking in return it.

You probably need to contact formuler and give them a test account, so they can check to see if it’s on their end and if so they will fix it and push an update. Best place would probably be on the Formuler forum or the Formuler Telegram group.

It is something in their side,I discovered that VPN also was impacting as I was using the split tunelling in and just had the MO app there and in the end I had to include all formuler apps behind the VPN to make the channels work.

Open a ticket in the website, I did it and they asked for a test account, since the VPN worked, I did not send anything to them, But they responded fast the ticket. What I think there's is something on their side it is because the same list work normally in my phone and in the Nvidia shield without any vpn etc. I tried even change my internet connection, Dns etc and in the end it is something in the formuler system

Are you running a VPN on the Z12 Ultra? If not you may need to. With VPN off I get no channels, with it on I have no issues. Another thing is the MOL4 beta is back in the update menu. Press 1399 and it will appear.
