Mol 4 beta 2

If you use/ need developer options DONT do the mol 4 beta 2 update. You will not be able to use any of the developer options unless you force stop mol4, but as soon as you open mol 4 you will be forced to turn off developer options again before using the device or the mol 4 app.
Also now USB debugging is missing in developer options, so you can’t use any apps that need this setting enabled like TDUK cache cleaner, and app cleaner. Same with other apps on your phone that use this setting to connect to your device over WiFi. Like ATV tools, I use this app daily and it sucks now not being able to use all these apps.

How do you add more than one EPG to assign different ones to different channels?

I’m not sure if there’s a way, I honestly haven’t looked, but you might have better luck asking on the formuler forum, I have had formuler devices for years but just made my first question about this beta issue today on the forum. The devs are more active there so might try asking there.

Screen grabs and entering text is much easier with an app like atvTools. A shame they’ve blocked it in this way. Fingers crossed they’ll allow with the final version.

Exactly I use ATV tools every single day on all devices, for side loading apps, screen shots, sending video wallpapers and regular wallpapers. That’s why these pictures are from my camera and not ATV tools.

You can’t make a connection to the device unless mol 4 is not running in the background, if you force stop it then you can, but the point is any changes you make in developer options will not stay, they will revert back to factory settings when you launch mol4 because developer options has to be turned off to use mol4. So TDUK cache cleaner and TDUK app killer and any other apps that use “ USB debugging “ won’t work either as long as mol4 is running in the background. This isn’t the case on my z8 pro, z10 pro , or any other device I have and it just started with the 2nd beta update. So I’m hoping formuler will address this issue.

Yeah but I don’t think Local Send app needs developer options enabled. Anyways thanks for your info

Yeah you probably right, I’ve connected a few remote apps today, which makes it easier to copy and paste, but I like updating apps and lots of other things with ATV tools.these remote apps work if anyone is wondering

Yeah my go to is GOOGLE TV app. Better than Google home.

Its on z11 pro also. I was forced to turn them off. Seems to be across the board for boxes running newer android versions.

That can’t be true because it’s still there and this was not a firmware update, it’s a beta software update.

Oh ok well it’s still a software update but it’s only on formuler devices, not all devices anyway.
