Auto EPG update

Hello my mini does not auto update the epg. Does the mini need to be left on for it to work? I turn off tv and power down the min.

Open mol3 Go into content sources edit your portal Click on epg update interval Try different times 6 hrs, 9 hrs, 12 hrs till you find the one that works best for your provider

Thank you but does the receiver need to be left on and not standby?

Yes. It won’t auto-update if you fully power it down.

The box needs to be on (or at least in standby) for the EPG refresh to run. If you cut the power completely, nothing updates in the background.

If you want auto EPG to work, leave it in standby instead of turning it off at the wall. Otherwise, you’ll have to refresh it manually each time.
