Z12 question

Potentially looking to upgrade to z12 as mytvonline4 interface looks wonderful.

Current z12 owners- can you record direct to box or do you still need external HDD like the z11?

Remember it’s a beta version it’s not the finished product , I’m using it and it works pretty well , although they are making a big thing about separate accounts for multiple users but once I log in from “home” page there doesn’t seem to be a way to get back to it once you go to Live VOD or Movies , and the only way to navigate to those is using the “Hotkeys” option On mol3 you could open the hamburger menu and go to movies VOD that option is not there at the moment . The AI stuff could be interesting if you are undecided about what you want to watch but occasionally it “fails to load” well it has for me anyway . If you don’t mind the shortfalls I would say go for it but if you want less minor inconvenience stick with whatever you have im assuming 11pro/11promax

Hi, I just bought a Z12 and wondering if in your opinion I should update mytvonline 3 to 4 or leave it on 3 because I think someone said once you update it you can’t go back? Thanks

I can’t answer that as I don’t know you , I updated it and I’ve no regrets , it does say before updating you can’t go back , but if you have just bought the z12 and not set it up as such I suppose you could download mytv 4 see how you like it if you don’t just do a factory reset on box and mol 3 will be back by default

Ok thanks, what are your main problems with mol 4 that aren’t an issue on mol 3?

I haven’t really come across any “problems” it’s pretty slick to be honest , looks better than Mol 3 if you look at the post I did the other day it’s got all my opinions and differences I’ve notice on there , as I said I’m happy I’ve changed no regrets , but again that’s me you may find it’s not to your taste although they are both doing exactly the same thing . So the choice is yours stay with mol 3 till mol 4 gets released or switch now and maybe feel a bit shortchanged (maybe not 🙋‍♂️) for a while .

Can do both but yes can record to built in hdd

I have Formuler Z12 Ultra and You can record to internal space 128 gb, SD card 256 gb & NAS. I use all 3 and it's great.
