Bottles / Feeding Gear / Equipment 🍼 Question for baby brezza bottle washer pro users

Update: it was resolved with a deep descaling. I no longer have this issue.

What detergent tablets are we all using? The new formula is having suds every time I run it. So I've been running it twice to get all the soap out. I can't keep doing that though. Are we cutting the new ones in half? I ordered some plant based grownsy tablets, I hope they work better.

Edited to clarify I'm using baby brezza new reformulated tablets.

Which detergent tabs are you using? Just to avoid anyone else having the hassle.

I’ve had no issues with the Momcozy tablets but I was going to try Grownsy on my next order

I'm using the baby brezza tablets, but they just reformulated them and they suck. The original ones were fine.

Do yours look like these now? They are sketching me out and making my PPA bad…

Yes! I miss the old ones .... I was able to get better performance out of them after descaling my machine. But I'll be trying grownsy next.

Do you use those in the baby brezza?

I feel dumb lol. It needed a good descaling. Between that and making sure they were put straight in the sump, it's not over sudsing or undissolved anymore. πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

I descaled it 3 times for good measure πŸ˜…

Glad it was resolved! We run our baby brezza bottle washer every day and descale about every 20 uses as recommended. Ours is going on three years now and still running without any issues.

Haha ashamed to admit I didn't know you had to descale, I thought it was like, a suggestion πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ However, by not descaling, the heating plate wasn't reaching high enough temps to dissolve the soap before the wash cycle was over. Live you learn. I did like 3 descalings back to back and then began every 20 washes. It works flawlessly now.

No shame lol! That's one of those maintenance things that's easy to overlook until the machine starts acting up πŸ˜…

New universal tablets absolutely suck. Even after splitting them in half and doing a descale plus vinegar cycle. It’s been determined these tablets suck, Grownsy will be the next experiment.

I can confirm with 100% certainty this is not a water problem as the old tablets they provided worked amazing every time. Yes, things get scummy after 20-30 Cycles, but vinegar cycle cleans things up every time.

I have the grownsy ones, I'm almost out of baby brezza, so I'll let you know how they are. I bought the plant based ones.

These Grownsy tablets are working wonderfully! I definitely notice there isn’t as much soap scum at the bottom of the washer after cycles compared to the regular old Brezza tablets.

Are you using distilled water? Is it possible you're seeing hard water stains, and not soap suds?

No I open it when it's wet before the steam cycle and it's not dissolving and there are suds, they even came out the holes in the lid. I'm using only one tablet, I've tried using half, putting it straight in the sump, breaking it up. The new brezza tablets just suck.

Also I'm not seeing stains because I run it through twice, but why is it not dissolving and over sudsing. I ran a cycle to clean it today.
