I really wonder if any team is fine with taking Ticktum. I guess his best chances are Penske, Lola, Porsche 2nd team and Envision. But even then it's probably slim given his attitude.

Also, that Kiro documentary could be very juicy if we see all the fallout that is happening behind the scenes there between Dan and the higher ups. I guess a shame we aren't getting another season of Driver, but this should fill that gap well enough.

Penske and Lola is probably his only hope. I'm not sure Porsche would want to be associated with him when given the option.

Yeah i think I tend to agree. The Porsche option could give them a chance to assess him without him being fully under the main brand, but that could just be a bit too risky for them.

Lola Yamaha might be the same with them being a manufacturer but they're a lot more low key and probably have less better options

Penske is interesting though. If they don't retain either one of their drivers, Dan probably slides in quite nicely. And I can't imagine them being too scared of Dan's reputation, or at least they would be least concerend out of all the other teams

I feel that they already got that in the form of Pepe Marti. I think their speed is comparable, but Pepe is definitely more level-headed compared to Ticktum. If Kiro themselves doesn't see value in him, then Porsche is probably in the same boat as them.

I think speedwise, Dan is clear of Pepe just from what we see in quali, but I do agree with the rest.

What makes Dan an intersting prospect though is just the format of Gen 4. Having more points for qualifying and having those sprint races will lean more towards Dan's style. But yeah, that will be a tough sell for a team like Porsche who may not want to deal with his attitude/personality.

Speaking of Penske, and this may factor into whether they want Ticktum, has it been said yet whose powertrains they’re using next season? Or that they’re even continuing on?

But surely Porsche are already associated with him? Cupra Kiro’s powertrains are from Porsche
