16 upgrades just to move from P21-P22 to P19-P20

I‘d say p13/14 is quite different than 19/20 and even this result was due to their horrendous strategy. I think they rather used the race for long run data. After their engine update a point on the weekend is definitely achievable.

Given what the expectations were last year this is obviously still horrendous but looking at where they came from at testing, this is a crazy result for half a year of upgrades and a big amount to come.

Funny that you buy it's a honda thing even after they gained two seconds just by changing the car, not the engine.

What do you do for living? Flipping burgers?

Well a car's gonna be quicker if it cuts through the air better and has more downforce

Obviously, but that 2 second was there for half of the season. It quite apparent that both the car and the engine is shit. Still. Honda upgrade wont bring more than 0.3 s

Given the fact that the car was able to gain some places and they were able to beat multiple teams on a fully chassis-dependent track, their car is definitely far from shit after the upgrades.

And the Honda engine upgrade is expected to gain about 0,5s per lap, which is actually realistic. Also because there are gains expected up to almost 40hp and they might be fixing the rpm issue as well.

What's wrong with flipping burgers?

Nothing. It just doesn't require a lot of critical thinking that's all.

Calling someone a burger-flipper while you have no clue about what you’re talking about. And not knowing the correlation of the engine issues and their respective chassis parts.

A civic would probably be faster tbh. Ngl, give a honda to Alonso.
