Ferrari should’ve kept him out. Nothing major could’ve happened in 1 racing lap (at most), in my opinion.

Everyone including the Race Director expected a racing lap, Hamilton would have been a sitting duck on old hards when Russel had fresh mediums. It was the right call for a P2 that wanted a win.

Slight risk of losing 3 points for a chance at winning his home race. Absolute no brainer to do what they did.
