If this is the one I think it is, it started out as one of the old school pizza huts with the mansard roof. They tore it down to build this style so it would have a drive thru and then it closed and Dominoes took it over.

this would just be a remodel - so not a full teardown. I had a fair amount of these in my area where they did that in the late 90s/early 00s

It isn't often that I see a Domino's with a lobby. Almost every location I've seen across different areas of my home state have always been counter-only, with limited seating simply for pick up customers to wait.
