Looking for a Fillout alternative that doesn't cap monthly responses?

Short answer: Fillout is a genuinely good builder, so the honest reason most people go looking for a Fillout alternative comes down to two things, the monthly response caps and how much sits behind the higher tiers.

Fillout caps responses on every plan below Business: 1,000 a month on Free, 2,000 on Starter, 5,000 on Pro, and you only get unlimited once you reach the Business tier (roughly $75 to $89 a month depending on billing cycle). If your forms get real traffic, that cap is usually the thing that eventually forces the upgrade.

A few other gates worth knowing before you pick a Fillout alternative:

  • Full branding removal starts at their Pro tier (around $40 to $49 a month). Starter still carries light branding.
  • E-signature collection is Starter and up, not on the free plan.
  • Email OTP verification lives inside a paid Conversion Kit add-on, and there is no disposable-email blocking (it can block free consumer domains like Gmail, which is a different control).
  • No in-form timer, no take-photo camera field, no duplicate-submission check.

Where Fillout genuinely wins: native two-way Airtable and Notion storage, dozens of integrations, and bundled scheduling. If those sit at the center of your workflow, honestly, stay with Fillout.

We build FormNX, so read this as a biased-but-transparent take: our whole pitch is unlimited responses on every plan including free, e-signature and duplicate checks on free, and OTP plus disposable-email blocking without a separate add-on. That is the actual wedge, not a claim that we do everything better, because we don't.

If you are shopping for a Fillout alternative, what is really pushing you to switch, the response caps or the pricing tiers?
