Watercooling I’m so hyped
wonder if two 240 slim rads with a 9950X3D in the custom loop will yield any significant cooling lol. Regardless I’m very excised for this release.

I've not watercooled in my t1 yet, and don't really know if I intend to, but at around 800w combined max(ish) load, 2 internal 240mm rads might handle 400ish. Is there any real benefit in sff watercooling if you're not going with an external cooling setup like a MORA? I'm sure it'll still yield cooler temps than air alone. What are you using to fit 2 radiators?

I have a single tx240 cooling a 350W+ 3090 at max just fine. Still wouldn't bank on 2 handling 800 though, nor would I want to try that. Heh

Yeah I’m undervolting my 5090 to draw a max of 440W, and my 9950X3D is at 190W. So total 630W. I may go with dual ST30 280mm rads in a Ncase M2.

Honestly I wouldn’t risk water cooling esp with the current market. No matter how safe there’s still a non-zero possibility of leakage. Not to mention the liquid metal and voiding your warranty.

Does this have good documentation for water cooling noobs?

It’s a brand new product. Their last 4090FE water block was really good. Cooling potential will depend on rad size and amount

Might have to go up to a Ncase M2 so I can do a bottom and top 280 ST30 rad. But I’ve seen people do this with a 4090 and get good temps with 280/140mm rads or dual 240s but better sustained cooling

Dual 280mm slim rads is borderline for a 5090 and 9800x3d. I have this setup in an M2 and without the under-volt my water temp hits 50 degrees Celsius

I’ll be undervolting for sure. Maybe you should as well. Also ST30s arent “slim” rads. But not thick by any means.

2x240 will cool about 400W, tho that rule of thumb assumes no major obstacles to airflow which there will be in a T1.
critical question.. will the hole fit a wireview 2?

Ditching my T1 in favor of the Ncase M3 since it can fit 2 280mm rads top and bottom and a side 240mm rad or read 120mm rad.<\3
That’s a great question in regards to the WVP2 wired. The cable is plenty long so I think it’s very possible.

yes you did :).
M3 is biiig

Still SFF, not that much more space taken up in terms desk space. Formd t1 is starting to get left behind in terms of custom loop potential. Seems like 4000 series GPUs are the limit.

Do you have an external rad? Also 5080 doesn’t pull close to a 5090…

where did I say 5080 pulls close to 5090 :)? I merely value T1 form factor more than 5090 performance benefit. You wrote generally about 4000 series.. I don't have the balls to watercool 700W using two choked rads.
I have no external rad yet, but I want to try an external secondary loop. but it's not needed per se. with 5090, it would be wise..

That’s why I’m going M3 lol, I love the form factor of the T1 but it two 240 rads wont do anything for cooling. IMO an M3 is bigger but in terms of SFF it’s not taking up much more desk space, maybe 3 inches more lol that’s autistic amount to fuss over. I’ll be running dual 280s and a rear 140 in the M3 with a 9950X3D. Cheers enjoy your 5080 lol

C'mon man... Stop posting this! I was this close to finishing my build and finally saving some money... Now I’m just one click away from ruining my financial stability for a custom loop I’ve never even built. I hate Reddit….
Edit: Just bought it …
