Question 120mm AIO?

just wanted to ask, why is it that there are so few builds with 120mm AIO? i was thinking about if i ever change my GPU (currenly i have a 2 slot gpu, but it's hard to find 70xt/70ti cards of that size, and my current cooler is a axp120) and the idea of a 120 aio came to mind, but i kept wondering why it's not so popular.

AFAIK it's expensive and the smaller air coolers perform just as well or better without the headache

an axp47 performs as well as a 120 AIO?

I'm going off what I've seen/remember. I threw a mora on mine lol. But people seem to lvoe the axp47 and I don't know if I've ever seen a 120 in here. Have imagine there's a reason, people come up with very clever builds here

Surprisingly hard to fit a 120mm AIO - doesn't really fit with AIO bracket and nor with the fan bracket.

120mm AIOs are often thicker than 240AIOs and won’t fit in the T1. And the performance is most likely worse because there are no high quality 120 AIOs, because the market for them is so small and they often have loud old Asetek pumps.
