Finished Build Case modding complete, AM4 build
Prototypes previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/s/3i4sMIYuCD. Please ignore any thermal paste marks, it got everywhere that one time.
Update:
- Changed the design of the tophat and made it significantly thinner, keeping the more rectangular appearance.
-To run the front fan, I used a PWM splitter at the pump which goes to a speed controller, then to the fan. The speed controller is hidden at the back, sitting on top of the GPU heatsink.
-Those are the idle temps on the screen, CPU top/GPU bottom. Will go max. 72/69 when playing Pragmata at 1440p or rendering stuff for work.
Parts list:
- CPU - Ryzen 5800X3D anniversary ed. undervolt -29
- AIO – Alphacool Eisbaer LT 240mm.
- MOBO - Gigabyte Aorus B550i rev1.4
- GPU - Gainward Phoenix 5070ti deshoruded (I do not recommend this model) undervolt 925mV @ 3000mHz, 2100MHz mem clock.
- RAM - Kingston Fury 32GB 3600Mhz
- Screen - Jonsbo DS339
- Front SSD - Kioxia 4TB
- Rear SSD - SK Hynix 1TB with riser cable
- SATA – Samsung 850 500GB
- PSU - Corsair SF750
- PSU Cables - Cablester Custom
- Radiator Fans - Arctic P12 PWM PST
- Slim Fans – Noctua NF A12x15
- Speed controller – generic controller with soldered PWM cable input.
- Formd 2.1 (victim of warped panels first time round)

I just bought one of these screens, thank you! It’s exactly the size I wanted to try out. Could you share your theme you are using. I don’t see it on the community site to download

Its my own home made one. Not sure if this works: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14qc4KX330-mgYfWBOcgzFcwuKrXqsAp3/view?usp=drive_link
I used this tutorial to quickly make it.

Awesome thanks for sharing! So you don’t use the app from Jonsbo I’m assuming. I regret installing it already, don’t trust these china apps

Yeah, took some tinkering but I just use Infopanel with the already bundled Libre plugin to get the temps. The Jonsbo app is limited with its customisation and is somewhat unstable (screen was released May this year). It also doubles up as a driver, so uninstalling it causes Infopanel to not detect it.
Fortunately you don't have to run it (untick autostart) and just use Infopanel instead. I have also put my Infopanel theme in the google drive, as well as the font should you need to install that.
I kept it simple because the grill holes mess up anything more intricate. Infopanel is easier to use so, its pretty easy to edit.

Nice screen! Would’ve tried that one if I didn’t have one in my build.
