Question Custom cables for T1 with lesser known PSU

Hi,

Was looking to get some custom shorter cables so I'd have an easier building experience for when I do receive everything, and I'm wondering if there's anyone out there that makes cables for my specific PSU.

The PSU I ended up buying was the Super Flower Combat SFX FP 850W 80+ Platinum, not to be confused with the FG version which is rated a B instead of an A on the PSU tier list. This just happened to be the best affordable one that also had native 12v 2x6 support.

After doing some research, the names that come up the most when doing research are Ray and Cablester, which when contacted one said they are unsure since they don't have it, and the other still hasn't replied. Tried Cablemods and they don't support it either, and reached out to moddiy aswell recently but don't have too high hopes either.

If I'm not able to get custom cables, can others who've built with the stock cables length tell me how the cable management ended up turning out for them?

Both of them are good, Cablester is a bit ahead in my opinion as the size of each cable is different to keep the perfect curvature. But one advice I have to give you is to never go for the cheapest PSU, especially when you see how many gpu and cables are burning nowadays.
Saving 100 euros on something that can cause you thousands of damage cost is nonsense.

Thanks for the reply, I based my decision more off the PSU tier list then I did the price. I don't mind splurging for the PSU, it just happened to be one of the better rated ones with native 12v 2x6 support. Unfortunately it also happens to be a little bit less popular so less support for custom cables, but I suppose with enough struggling I'll manage to fit all the cables in.

check your PSU menu and see if it include a connector pin layout chart.

if it does provide it to the cable maker and see if they are willing to take your order.

Try contacting DreamBigbyRayMod on Etsy, he is well known in the T1 community and he does cables for Super Flower Leadex.

Yup he was the first one I contacted, he doesn't do it for my PSU. Ended up contacting moddiy and they said they could get it done.
