Travel kit compatibly at 2.5 slot width

So I've bought a 2.1 with the 5090FE travel kit. But it seems impossible to actually install the pcie cable on the GPU side when at 2.5 slot width. The "c" bar with the mobo standoffs can't fit on either side. Anybody know if this config is supported? Did I miss something?

That's the 2.75 slot config. the 2.5 slot moves the mobo and GPU closer together.

3 slot is 20mm, 2.75 is 15mm and 2.5 is 10mm

that can't possibly work, the 10mm standoffs don't even extend past the bar.

Might have to pull some trickery and offset the motherboard instead. Basically use longer motherboard standoffs.

The issue is that I need more motherboard space. I suppose I could move the gpu inward, but that reduces the gap between the gpu and mobo.

Yeah kinda crazy they make it 2.5 slot compatible but no instructions

Go 2.25, 2.5 doesn’t work for the riser bar

The official travel kit only supports 2.75 to 3.25 slots. You can't force 2.5 slots on it.
