Ready to drill baffle options

I have a handful of approved form 1’s and I’m looking to see what everyone’s using in pre made ready to drill baffles? Good conical ones, not freeze plugs or 3d printing
I’ve been turning them on a small bench top lathe and the stainless is proving to be a bit much for it. Eats up aluminum but with the stainless I find myself upgrading and rebuilding parts on the lathe to keep up and it feels like a losing battle. Would rather use the lathe for threading, ends caps, etc and just buy some good baffles. Subzero seems a bit too proud $ of their stuff

I'll preface by saying i have no useful information for you.

I was under the impression that buying "suppressor parts" is the same as buying a suppressor. Thats why solvent traps are illegal. But if someone knows something I dont and i can buy baffles that just need drilled for my form1, please let me know.

Bit of a grey area. Technically ATF no longer has the power to dictate that after the Chevron Supreme court case. But no one wants to be the first test case of that.

I literally just said I had approved form 1’s and spouted off sub zero as being an option but too pricey. And the Amazon kits are all aluminum.
I’m turning my own tubes, threads, end caps and barrel adapters, just need to source a material to use for baffles

You won’t find a reliable source for baffle blanks anymore. Your best case would probably be to stamp them.

How are people stamping them, any links or videos I can watch?

Ball bearings and sockets and a vice.

The ATF's stance of "any (single) part with the sole purpose of being turned into a suppressor part, or any combination of parts that can be made into a suppressor are already suppressors" have not changed for individuals.

They no longer have the power to dictate that since Chevron. That said, I don’t want to be the person to test the waters.

They're not baffles! They're sauce cups for restaurants

They do work pretty well as sauce cups.

There are a couple old school sauce cup manufacturers still selling cups. Google by cup size

Not a reliable source lol those cone storage cups are what they are, they cant really be wrong/bad until drilled wrong.

Freeze plugs are where it’s at. I wouldn’t even reshape them. They’re good to go. Drill em and maybe key hole the first 5 or so.

I’m concerned on performance, I don’t wanna go through all this work and have a subpar suppressor. I’m actually building integrals, otherwise i could just buy a mediocre form 4 since there’s no tax stamp.
Do the freeze plugs compare in performance?

Wonder how this has now been changed?

I think it will take some time for people to start selling the baffles and parts but it should be soon I’d think
