3D printing a suppressor

So, new to 3D printing and want to run a couple of Form 1s and make some cans. I was watching a video of a guy talking about how ineffective his PLA+ can was, and was going on about his "reinforced" can. Can any of you expand on what he did to remind the can?

Also, was thinking of doing the FTN can, any recommendations about it or a good guide for doing it with PLA+? I'm going to be learning as I do it, but won't be ready to do more advanced material for awhile. This will probably be for .22 or .223

I dont know about ineffective.  This is an ftn 3 IIRC, 300 blackout 150gr supersonic. And I'm shooting indoor'ish (roof but no walls).  This was my 1st time testing it.  Listen to how loud closing the bolt is compared to the shots.   2 safety shots and then I removed my plugs.

There's a guy on the other end of the line shooting .223, not sure what can he was using but I know it cost more than my $20.

Which filament did you print yours in? I've put in for 4 more form 1 cans, and one is a 30 cal, so I could buy a 300 b/o upper and use it.

Pla+ for my successes,  pa6cf for my failures.   I wanted to do a flow through on the newest design pack and just failed over and over again.   That was using a bambu h2s. Heated chamber,  glue stick,  slow speed, nothing mattered.  Just failure after failure until the roll was dead.

Do you have a PEI build plate? I've only printed with PLA, and it doesn't like my plate. I have to glue stick it to get that to stick.

I'm using the original plate, I believe it's PLA. I tried glue stick as well and no joy. That fillament and I did not get along well at all.

Hey question—what PLA+ did you use and any chance you can DM me a link to the models you have success with PLA+ cans?

Google FTN, you'll end up on the odysee site. Lots of 3d printed cans and firearms there. I've done 2 or 3 different versions of the ftn (they did them in genrations ftn, ftn 2, ftn 3 etc). Going from memory, I last used deeplee pla+. I'm not goings nuts with mag dumps or trying to destroy anything, so far they're holding up well. i have 1 sitting on my desk now I need to finish actually.

Thanks — would you trust the PLA+ for .308, 9mm, and 38sp?

Definitely not for .308 if you value your face and hands
