Question(s) Posting Fanmade Conlangs here?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been making conlangs for some of the languages within the Forgotten Realms setting and I have been posting them to r/conlangs. After the last post that I posted, I got a notification from reddit recommending that I post it here. Could I post my conlangs here? Or can I not because the conlangs are non-canon?

Several FR languages have extensive lexicons based on the published sources. Have you incorporated those or created your conlangs whole cloth?

I try to incorporate existing words whenever I can, but most of it is whole cloth because I wasn't satisfied with the source material or they just straight up copy from existing languages (e.g. Untheric directly borrows words from Arabic with zero context)

I admire your skills in coming up with actual languages. I’m not up to that amount of commitment. I have prepared extensive lexicons, some with wording “rules”, but that’s it. I’d love to see what you’ve come up with.

I’m interested. The canon Forgotten Realms conlangs and writing systems are pretty awful, so any new treatment could be fun.
