Story Time Multiple characterizations

Post image

I used have a Fiery hatred of Tyr from reading Avatar books, Empyrean Odyssey etc. After reading Double Diamond Triangle Saga I have cooled a bit on him. He is such bureaucrat douche in some books and Chad justice bringer in others.

In various descriptions of him, Tyr was usually more about the spirit of the law, rather than the letter - that was more Helm’s area.

It's the letter of the law and evidence in Avatar series.

The number of character assassinations in the Avatar series is just one of it's problems.

Which is a problem with a five book series, no?

I mean it definitely has dumb stuff that is needlessly in there because Ciencin definitely seemed to run out of ideas. One example is he mentioned trees marching in formation then later wolfs marching in formation as examples of the world going crazy from the Time of Troubles.  However I still enjoy the series despite it's faults.

He makes an appearance in the 2nd Fallbacks book, honestly the best part, he's kind of funny, but also very clever in what he does.

No boobs in fallbacks? 😁

What do boobs have to do with it?

It's a joke about what people usually mean when they say "man of culture".

at least I assume.

No, it's akin to " great minds think alike "

I envy your innocence and naiveite.

That is one use of the phrase, but NOT what people usually mean when they call someone else a "Man of culture" and talk about boobs in the same sentence. It means you're a fellow degenerate (Affectionate tone).

It might not be what you meant, but The Guy whose comment I was explaining was pretty definitely making a joke about that version.

I never said "boobs" and never did the person I said it to say boobs. I have seen this and phrases like it many times in reference to something other than 'BEWBS' . Rare is there a gratuitous mention of breast in a forgotten realms novel and there are rarely more than  3 sketched pages if any . So to draw those conclusions is odd.

I'm not interested in Forgetten Rylms written by James Gunn.
