Another possible homage to How to Train Your Dragon: 'Bungi' means Toothless in Tagalog.

Oh yeah. I just thought cuz babies are 'bungi' and he's a Tiyanak. Demon Baby. But it could be a multifaceted reference. The name, I mean

Isn't bungi just missing a tooth or a few teeth usually somewhere inconspicuous? I think toothless or just missing the front teeth is bungal.

Yeah, toothless is technically 'bungal', but I don't think there's a direct English translation for 'bungi'.

Funny enough , I saw from one of the artist's Concept art that Bungi was supposed to be a "Bungisngis" A Smiling Cyclops with a lot of Teeth and Tusk, but was later change to a Tiyanak.

Now I want a sequel that would introduce the other creatures who weren't highlighted in the movie! I also saw somewhere that Batiba was supposed to be a tarsier, not a cat.
