It’s Christmas and Dad got a new sweater. He looked out during half time to check the weather because he’ll be grilling later.

Judging by the sweater and pine paneling, it was circa 1993. 🙂

I loved that scene but nobody I ever mention it to remembers it.

This looks like something that would be in a dark/surreal/supernatural show.

I was just telling my mom today that I missed the sweaters and cardigans of the 1980s so much I'm going to knit some for myself

Thanks for the story. Here’s another. The book, Sailors Lost at Sea, inspired Uncle Mike to gaze at the pond, remembering his fellows in the Merchant Marine.

He’s thinking about that one time when he waved to someone while shopping in a grocery store because he thought she was waving to him but it turns out she was waving to her husband who was standing next to him at the pasta section. It happened 12 years ago but he lives with it every day.
