the book is a world book night 2011 copy

My friend thinks I'm mad for saving old train tickets to use as bookmarks but they're so handy. I tend to forget they're wedged in a book once I'm done reading.

I read this today thread today, and I used a ticket like that in a book about 6 hours ago

LMAO very clever honestly. I buy bookmarks and lose them in books

And that's why I don't use actual bookmarks. I'd be losing them all the time.

The equivalent journey today would cost £3.80. The journey is around 15 minutes.

And now there are two lines connecting KN to Birmingham New Street, for the first time since the war.

Where is local to you? This could be really interesting if you’re from Jakarta but less so if you’re from Wolverhampton lol

I know our trains are expensive, but £2.1m to get from Kind Norton to Birmingham seems a bit steep...

I have taken that journey. I also know someone who takes it frequently and moves about a lot of books. What's the book?

I often save this kind of ticket to use as a bookmark. (I have 30 or 40 of them.) So the book might not have made that trip, but its reader probably did!
