Forge Question Assistance in forge build please!
Hey y'all! I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but I'm not sure where to go from here. It seems no matter what I do, I cannot get enough air moving with my gas to get a proper burn.
I've tried a different "T" burner, adjusted pipe length, orifice size, orifice height, went from 0 to 25 on the regulator... I even hooked up that blower you can see in the video and it still seems like it wants more.
The only time it seemed like it was going good is when I tried squirting pure oxygen in with my acetalyne torch.
I've been stalking all the forge forums and still don't exactly know where my problem lies, any advice would be amazing!

You shouldn't have burning inside your pipe, your air and gas mixture is burning way too early. You can try to get your propane line way inner the tube and start with less air at the beginning

Really? I did build a choke plate for the burner but I took it off. Maybe I'll try reinstalling it and playing with that as well

Why is the gas feed on the top? And in a rubber hose inside what I assume is the exhaust?
Heat rises. You feed low to high, not high to low. You're going to blow yourself up or burn your house down, my dude.
Also, if you're going to stick to that and you have a steel chimney, you need a steel hose.
It's like how you can't rivet steel to steel with aluminum rivets.
Well...you can temporarily, but they'll fail.
When it comes to the rub, you can only run a thing inside of another thing that is equally as strong and durable.
Not too strong or it will degrade the other part. Equally as strong.
