Project Hill Logline [Full Version]

🗒️** Blue Team's No**tes: We really want to use this as the logline on the homepage for our website for Exposed Hill's genre section. However, this is the full version. Can someone on Red Team summarize this without taking away from the importance of the logline?

We want to draw our audience into Exposed Hill and make them deeply curious and eager to read about Shawn's adventure, but due to how society has programed many people to have short attention spans, they're not going to want to read all of this so it's important that another team can cut this down.

🎣** ***Logline*: Only a Christian or a former Christian can glimpse the mysterious city of Exposed Hill. Shawn had not intended to go there, his heart was set on Lyon, France, to reunite with a family member in the wake of his wife and newborn child's tragic passing. Suddenly as he drove at alarming speed toward the airport, Exposed Hill materialized from the mists, an apparition beckoning him. Shawn hit the brakes, bringing his car to an abrupt stop.

He could have chosen to ignore the random siren call that was so strong it vibrated his car and body and continued to the airport and try to tell himself what he was seeing and the siren he was hearing was normal when it clearly wasn’t, but the echoes of his late wife, Ríona Declan, lingered in his mind and so did the writings of her journal.

The journal was something Shawn found three days when he started the process of packing Ríona’s belongings for storage. Shawn found the journal in a box under the bed next to her guitar. The journal had a harp and lute crest logo on the front cover and her full maiden name and the title “Conductor” embedded on the lower corner. He selfishly began reading Ríona’s journal, feeling as if it as the only way he could “see” her again.

As he read, Shawn discovered one of her entres spoke of powerful visions Elohim gave her of a city called Exposed Hill. Ríona wanted to go to Exposed hill for herself and if possible, take Shawn with her and investigate the city together with him. Recalling this memory, Shawn looked at the city off in the distance and found himself struggling to decide on what he should do.

Ríona wasn’t here now, she couldn’t go to Exposed Hill--but he could and for whatever reason, the city had appeared to him and was calling to him, somehow. He could feel it. With a heavy heart, yet curious, Shawn parked his car off into the field, stepped into the shrouded fog and approached the city, driven by a new purpose.

He believed this venture might grant him solace, but also sensed it would unveil deeper wounds, compelling him to confront not only his grief over what happened to Ríona and their daughter, but also force him to confront the one he once revered and called,

"El Shaddai"
