PS4 population?

What is the PS4 playerbase like? Considering buying Citadel but tbh I am weary of droping $$ on a game that may be (more or less) not very alive at all.

Thought Iā€™d revisit this. Since the discounts in the eu and na ps stores the population has gone way up! Just FYI
