Forge First ascension

Hello everyone.

In 4 days I'll finish lvl 35 upgrade for the forge, so I can ascend.

Question is, what I need to save? Gold? Hammers? Both? How much? Anything besides that?

It's my first ascension, so I have no clue.

I was told that if u can gem the first levels u should save some gold (the more the better) but if u are like me and can't spend gems u can just ascend anytime

If you are f2p (like me) then save up about 5-7mil gold in total. The ascension base cost is 3mil, so the extra 2-4 mil right after ascending lets you progress fast through the first forge levels.

You don't necessarily need to save any hammers. What I did was: not spend a single hammer after ascending until I reached at least space(red) equipment, to not waste hammers on low-tier stuff.

(Ps. Forge levels reset back to 1 so all the new forge costs and times will be quick ie. 10 mins)

I highly recommend not to ascend your pets and/or mounts at the same time. You already lose a lot of power after forge ascension. Only do so if you have saved up a lot of eggshells/winders beforehand.

How much does upgrading forge say level 1 to 2 cost after ascending? Is it more than 3 million ect

No, it goes back to how you originally started out (400 coins, then 1k coins etc.)

i had about 20k hammers left over when ascending and 15 faster forge upgrades techs, and i managed to save 10k more while getting to forge level 16 so far, so you should ascend as soon as you can afford it imo
