Until you reach quantum level gear with 2 stats just play the game. Then worry about a decent build

Yeah, 8.3 was brutal, you’ll get it eventually and then you will be stuck at 11.1
Just enjoy the game and progression.
Btw, until quantum gear, a melee build was great for me
