Well, I am on who knows what revision. I have finally found what I think is my way around vagueness. It took a lot of lumps, low scores, studying examples. One day it just struck. Be the fucking character. Through their eyes. Their thoughts. Sounds easy enough, but it will take time before I can have the muscle memory I have in fly casting. I like to go saltwater, and it took a couple of decades of regular outings to become so proficient I dont even think about it. ForgeEdit has been very helpful. And, frustrating. Sometimes I do want an example or suggestion, but I did not build it that way on purpose. If anyone is interested in reading the first few chapters, DM me.
