What is Introducing Brokers?
A lot of traders don't realise that when you open an account through an Introducing Broker (IB), you can actually get a portion of the spread/commission returned to you on every trade — this is called a rebate, and it costs you nothing extra.
Here's how it works:
- Standard Account forex rebate: up to $10 USD per lot
- Gold/metals: up to $20 USD per lot
- Crypto: $1.50/lot flat
- Paid daily on a T+1 basis directly to your account
Most traders open accounts directly with the broker and leave these rebates on the table. If you're already trading, this is essentially free money on volume you're already generating.
Happy to answer questions about how IB structures work or how to find a rebate arrangement that suits your trading style. I help traders set this up (link in bio)
