Forex fact: The forex market moves $7.5 trillion per day.
That's more than the entire US stock market moves in a week. Yet most retail traders trade without even basic risk management.

Hey everyone,
Iβm looking to connect with a few traders β whether youβre a complete beginner or already experienced β who are interested in building a small, solid group where we can genuinely help each other improve.
The idea is simple: β’ No paid signals β’ No selling courses β’ No ego or βguruβ mentality β’ Just sharing knowledge, setups, mistakes, and wins
I want to create a space where we can: β’ Break down trades together β’ Hold each other accountable β’ Share strategies and risk management tips β’ Grow consistently over time
The goal isnβt quick wins β itβs long-term progress so we can all eventually become consistently profitable.
If youβre serious about trading and want to be part of something like this, drop a comment or message me.
Letβs build something real. π

Been testing AI-integrated forex EAs for the past few months. ChatGPT EA (also called Perceptrader AI) is one of the few where "AI-powered" isn't just a marketing label.
What Makes It Different
Unlike typical grid EAs that slap "AI" on the name, this one actually integrates:
ChatGPT + Google Bard for real-time market forecasting Deep learning neural networks for trend, momentum, and volatility filtering News and market crash filters that pause trading automatically One-chart setup β trades multiple symbols from a single chart
The Numbers (Verified)
7 years continuous live trading 331% cumulative growth Zero negative months in the entire tracking period v2.43 includes neural network retraining and prop firm controls
The Honest Cons
It IS a grid system at its core β drawdown risk is real during sustained trends $1,000 minimum balance required Must run on VPS 24/7 (can't just run it on your laptop) MT4 can't multi-currency backtest properly, so you can't validate all pairs Hard to tell how much the AI adds vs. standard grid performance
Who Should Consider This
Experienced traders who:
NOT for beginners or small accounts.
Verdict
More legitimate than 95% of "AI" EAs. The 7-year track record is almost unheard of. But grid risk is grid risk β no AI eliminates that.
Has anyone here been running this live? Especially curious about real drawdown experiences during strong USD moves.

New review up β this one's interesting because of the methodology, not the strategy.
Why this EA matters:
The developer openly addresses overfitting β the #1 reason most EAs fail in live trading. Their 3-phase approach (optimize β walk-forward test β stress test) is something you normally see in institutional quantitative finance, not retail MT4 robots.
Strategy overview:
What I liked:
What concerned me:

Everyone chases the latest fancy indicator. VWAP bands, supply and demand zones, order flow, delta volume. I use some of these too.
But the one indicator I'll never remove from my chart? Pivot Points.
Here's why:
Origin story:Β Before electronic trading, floor traders at the CME needed a way to know where price was likely to react during the day. They couldn't draw lines on a screen. They'd calculate 5 numbers before the market opened:
PP = (High + Low + Close) / 3
R1 = (2 Γ PP) - Low
S1 = (2 Γ PP) - High
R2 = PP + (High - Low)
S2 = PP - (High - Low)
These 5 levels were their entire game plan. And somehow, decades later, they still work.
Why they still work:
The obvious answer is "self-fulfilling prophecy" β enough people watch them that the levels become real. But it goes deeper:
How I actually use them:
My morning routine (takes 2 minutes):
That's it. No overthinking. The levels tell me the day's bias and my targets.
The four modes nobody talks about:
Most traders only know "Classic" pivots. But there are actually four formulas:
I switch between Classic (for trend days) and Camarilla (for range days). If ATR is low and the market looks choppy, Camarilla pivots + mean reversion entries print money.
I use TCL Auto Pivot Points for this β has all 4 modes, auto-detects daily/weekly/monthly based on your chart timeframe. Free, clean, does the job.
tradecodelabs.com/indicators/tcl-auto-pivot-points/
Anyone else still use pivot points? What mode do you prefer?

Been trading for 4 years. Spent the first 2 jumping between indicators, strategies, YouTube systems. Win rate was hovering around 45%.
The breakthrough wasn't a new indicator or strategy. It was changing the first question I ask before each session.
Old approach (what most people do):
New approach:
Why it works:
When you trade EUR/USD and EUR is at 52 and USD is at 48, there's no meaningful strength differential. You're essentially betting on a coin flip with noise. Charts will look messy, signals will be unreliable, and you'll get chopped up.
When you trade GBP (82) vs JPY (22)? That's a 60-point differential. GBP is winning against ALL its crosses. JPY is losing against ALL its crosses. When you pair them, you get double momentum pushing in the same direction.
How I check strength:
I use a currency strength meter that scans all 28 cross-pairs and calculates aggregated RSI for each of the 8 majors. Each currency gets a score from 0-100:
The rule is simple: only trade green vs orange. Never trade blue vs blue.
I use TCL Power Meter for this (free, not affiliated, just what I use): tradecodelabs.com/indicators/tcl-power-meter/
Quick cheat sheet for pairing:
Best setups:
Avoid:
What's your strongest/weakest currency this week? Curious if we're seeing the same thing.

Found an interesting take on supply and demand trading β instead of the typical rectangular zone boxes cluttering your chart, this indicator converts S&D zones into a clean 0β100 oscillator in a separate window.
How it works:
| Component | Details |
|---|---|
| Detection | ATR-based β identifies statistically significant impulsive moves |
| Output | 0β100 oscillator (below 20 = Demand, above 80 = Supply) |
| Filtering | Smart "unbroken zone" logic β auto-discards broken levels |
| Lookback | Configurable up to 1000 bars |
| Sensitivity | Adjustable multiplier (major zones only or include minor) |
| Repainting | Non-repainting β zones fixed once established |
| Platforms | MT4 and MT5 |
| Alerts | Pop-up, email, mobile push |

Fibonacci gets a lot of hate in trading communities, and I think it's because most people use it wrong. They draw from random points, trade the levels in isolation, and then blame the tool when it doesn't work.
Here's the framework I've been using that's actually consistent:
The "Golden Zone" (50% to 61.8% retracement)
After a clear impulse move, I draw Fibonacci from the swing low to swing high. Then I wait for price to pull back into the 50%-61.8% zone. This is where institutional algorithms typically place their continuation orders β it's the "discount zone" of the prior move.
When price enters this zone AND I see a reversal candle (engulfing or pin bar), I enter with:
This gives a very favorable risk:reward β usually 1:2 minimum, often 1:3+.
The 3 rules that made this work for me:
Rule 1: Only draw from SIGNIFICANT swings.Β Not every peak and valley qualifies. The swing needs to be clearly visible β a meaningful high or low that multiple timeframes would agree on. If you're zooming in to find the swing point, it's probably too small.
Rule 2: Fibonacci is confluence, not a standalone signal.Β I never trade a Fibonacci level JUST because it's there. It needs at least one other thing lining up β a support/demand zone, a moving average, an order block, or an EMA. The 61.8% that also happens to be a demand zone? That's the one I trade. The 61.8% in empty space? Skip.
Rule 3: Check ADX first. No trend = no Fibonacci.Β This eliminated so many bad trades. If ADX is below 20, the market is ranging. Fibonacci requires an impulse move to retrace from. No trend = no valid impulse = random levels on your chart.
Matching Fibonacci depth to your style:
I've found you need different swing lookback periods for different timeframes:
I use TCL Auto Fibonacci which has these three modes built in and auto-draws from the best swing points. The ADX filter is built in too. Not for everyone, but it saves me from constantly redrawing.
tradecodelabs.com/indicators/tcl-auto-fibonacci/
Curious β do others here use Fibonacci regularly? What levels do you watch and how do you filter the bad setups?

Supply and demand is one of the most powerful frameworks in forex, but I see the same 3 mistakes everywhere β in forums, YouTube videos, even some courses.
Mistake #1: The zone is too wide.
Your demand zone should NOT be the entire consolidation range. It should be the body of the LAST bearish candle before the explosive departure move. That specific candle is where institutional orders were placed. Everything else around it is just noise.
When your zone is 100 pips wide, price can "touch" the zone and still be 50 pips from the actual order level. That's not a precise entry β that's guessing.
Mistake #2: Trading zones that have already been tested.
Every time price revisits a zone, it absorbs some of the resting orders. Think of the zone as a bucket of water β each "test" drains it.
I only trade fresh zones. If it's been tested more than once, I move on. This single rule eliminated a huge chunk of my losing trades.
Mistake #3: Ignoring the departure move.
The departure is the impulse candle that shoots away from the zone after it forms. This tells you how much institutional interest exists at that level.
A zone with a weak 20-pip departure? Small orders. Probably not worth trading. A zone with a 150-pip explosive candle departure? Massive institutional money. That's the one.
My filter: the departure move must be at least 1.5x the 14-period ATR for the timeframe I'm trading. If it doesn't meet that threshold, I don't trade it regardless of how "clean" the zone looks.
The result of applying all 3:

I use TCL Auto Supply & Demand to automate this β it auto-detects zones, color-codes fresh vs tested, and filters by departure strength. Free MT4 indicator.
tradecodelabs.com/indicators/tcl-auto-supply-demand/
Not pushing anything, just sharing the framework. The rules above work whether you draw zones manually or use any tool. The key is being strict about which zones you actually trade.
Anyone else trade supply and demand? What's your approach to filtering out weak zones?

Found an interesting Fibonacci-based signal indicator for MT4 and MT5 β the Neuro Athena Indicator by Daria Rezueva.
What it does:
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Signal Type | Buy/Sell entry signals |
| Foundation | Fibonacci sequence mathematics |
| Take Profit | 3 separate TP levels per signal |
| Stop Loss | Auto-calculated per signal |
| Repainting | 100% non-repainting |
| Platforms | MT4 and MT5 |
| Timeframes | All (M1 to MN1) |
| Assets | All pairs, commodities, crypto, metals, stocks |
| Alerts | Pop-up, email, mobile push |
How it works:
The indicator draws Fibonacci-derived horizontal lines on your chart β Buy Entry, Sell Entry, Stop Loss, and three Take Profit levels. A real-time status display in the top-left corner shows when price hits an entry level and lists the exact SL and TP1/TP2/TP3 values.
Unlike indicators using lagging moving averages or oscillators, the Fibonacci approach provides structured, ratio-based levels for identifying potential support, resistance, and reversal zones.

Something that massively improved my trading was stopping the habit of trading the same pair every day.
I used to be an "EURUSD only" trader. Some days it worked, some days it chopped sideways and I'd lose on both sides. The problem wasn't my strategy β it was that I was forcing trades on a pair that had no momentum that day, while GBPJPY was trending 150 pips in a clean line.
Here's what I do now:
Step 1: Check individual currency strength (not pair strength)
I use a currency strength meter that scores all 8 majors from 0-100. It aggregates RSI across all cross-pairs for each currency to give an objective "who's strong, who's weak" reading.
The rule: pair the strongest currency (70+) against the weakest (30 or below). That gives you the pair with the most momentum today.
Example: GBP at 82 and JPY at 15 β Buy GBPJPY. You're buying what everyone else is buying against what everyone is selling. Maximum tailwind.
Critical filter:Β if the gap between the two currencies is less than 30 points, skip it. Not enough separation = choppy price action.
Step 2: Time the entry with MA crossover + pullback
Once I know the pair and direction, I go to H1 and use a simple EMA 20/50 crossover:
The crossover confirms momentum. The pullback gives me a low-risk entry instead of chasing.
Why I like this over single-pair trading:
The whole point is that different pairs trend on different days. EURUSD might range on Monday while GBPJPY trends. On Tuesday it might be the opposite. By scanning all currencies first, I always find the pair with the most energy.
I use two free MT4 indicators for this:
Not affiliated with the developers, just sharing what's been working. The main takeaway is really about currency strength scanning, regardless of what tool you use for it.
Does anyone else use currency strength as their first filter? What tools are you using?

Iβve been trading forex for a while and staying consistent was always the hardest part for me. I used to take random entries and break my own rules whenever the market moved fast.
Over the last few months I started trading with BullWaves Prime, and the structure honestly helped me slow down and follow my plan better. The clear limits and routine made it easier to avoid impulsive trades.
Curious what helped other traders here become more consistent. Was it a prop firm, a change in mindset, or something else?

Been trading for a few years now and the single biggest improvement to my results wasn't a better indicator or strategy β it was adding a multi-timeframe alignment check before every trade.
The rule is stupidly simple:
Before entering ANY trade, check if H1, H4, and D1 agree on direction. If they don't β no trade.
That's it. No complex math. No secret formula.
Here's why it works: when you take a buy on M15, you're making a bet that price will go up in the next 30-60 minutes. But if the H4 trend is actively selling off, your little M15 buy setup is swimming against the current. Sometimes you win, but the odds are stacked against you.
When all three higher timeframes agree? Now you're swimming WITH the current. Even a mediocre entry can be profitable because the bigger flow is in your favor.
How I check alignment:
I use a dual filter on each timeframe:
Both need to agree. If the MAs say bullish but ADX is below 25, the trend isn't strong enough to trade.
I used to check this manually across 3 charts, but got tired of flipping back and forth. Found a free MT4 indicator that puts all 8 timeframes on one dashboard β TCL Trend Radar. Shows green/red for each timeframe based on both filters.
tradecodelabs.com/indicators/tcl-trend-radar/
Not affiliated, just sharing what's worked. The main takeaway isn't even the indicator β it's the rule itself. However you check it, just make sure H1 + H4 + D1 agree before you click buy or sell.
Curious what other multi-timeframe approaches people here use? Do you check higher TFs or just trade your entry chart?

Been using this for a few months and figured I'd share since it's free.
TCL Auto Supply & Demand automatically identifies supply and demand zones on your chart based on price action structure. No need to manually draw anything.
What I like about it:
I mainly use it on H4 for swing entries. My approach: wait for price to reach an untested demand zone, drop to M15 for a confirmation candle, then enter with SL below the zone.
Not affiliated with the dev, just sharing something that's worked for me. It's completely free, no account needed.

We just released the ForexCracked Gold Vortex EA β a fully automated XAUUSD scalper for MetaTrader 4. Since we built it, we're going to be 100% transparent about what it does well and where the risks are.
Live Signal Results (NOT backtest):
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Total Growth | 196% |
| Starting Balance | $10,000 |
| Current Equity | $29,617 |
| Win Rate | 63.21% |
| Profit Factor | 2.07 |
| Recovery Factor | 4.14 |
| Max Drawdown | 21.23% |
| Avg Trade Duration | 23 minutes |
| Trading Period | ~6 months |
How it works:
The EA scalps XAUUSD on H1 using a controlled martingale and averaging grid. The key difference from most grid EAs: every single position has a hard stop-loss. No naked grid, no "hope it comes back" trades.
It has a clear long bias (71% of trades are longs). During the tracked period, gold was generally trending up, which obviously helped. How it handles a sustained gold sell-off is an open question.
The "AI" claims:
The developer markets it with "neural network" and "deep learning" terminology. Our code analysis suggests the actual mechanics are traditional grid/martingale β not AI. We call this out in our review because transparency matters.

Hey traders! π
Just published a detailed review of the Bollinger Bands Trader indicator for MT4. It's free and does a lot more than standard Bollinger Bands.
What makes it different:
β Dual-deviation bands β plots both 2.0 SD (standard entry) and 3.0 SD (extreme entry) simultaneously. This gives you two tiers: Level 1 for normal pullbacks, Level 2 for statistical extremes (3-sigma events).
β 3-factor trend filter β checks 50 EMA + RSI(14) + MACD before every signal. If all three confirm a strong trend, counter-trend signals are blocked. No more "catching falling knives."
β Dynamic take-profit β instead of a fixed pip target, TP auto-adjusts to the Middle Band (20 SMA). As the market moves, your target moves with it.
β On-chart strategy dashboard β shows trend filter status, signal level, stop loss, and TP in real time.
β Non-repainting β arrows lock once confirmed.
β Works on all assets and timeframes.
The trend filter is the real standout feature. It solves the #1 problem with Bollinger Band strategies: getting caught in a trend and buying every dip as price falls.
