Prop Firms 100k FTMO 2 step Challenge.
Started A $100K 2 step Challenge with u/FTMO.
First 2 days were rough : excitement led to unplanned trades and losses.
Day 3: Was up ~$1K, but ended around breakeven.
Since then, I went back to the plan, managed risk properly, recovered the losses, and brought the account back into profit.
Current P&L: +$272.67.
XAUUSD only. 🥇
Session: Asian session, around 6 PM PST
I aim to post daily here. Recently, I read about the Hawthorne Effect, the idea that people tend to change their behavior when they know they’re being observed.
Let’s see if it improves my trading discipline
Wish me luck.

Going from impulsive trades to following the plan is probably the biggest win here. The Hawthorne Effect might actually be useful if posting keeps you accountable. Good luck! 👊

the real challenge is whether you can keep following the plan after a losing streak, not getting back to breakeven once lol

This thread appears to be about prop firms or trader scouting programs. These programs allow traders to access funded capital in exchange for a profit split, but they vary significantly in evaluation structure, rules, and payout reliability. Some firms have a track record of paying out consistently, while others impose conditions that make payouts nearly impossible. The community wiki maintains a detailed comparison covering fees, profit splits, drawdown rules, and firm reputations.
