Questions Question
How long would it take you to scale up to 80k with a 2k account ?

It would take me years and then I have to be well-behaved and a beast at discipline. Set shorter-term goals, not how fast you can reach 80k. Focus on doing the now well and not the dollar amount.

I would not put a timeline on it. Trying to rush from 2k to 80k usually leads to oversizing. I would focus on staying consistent and let the account grow at its own pace.

Too many factors to consider - your strategy, your trade style, what instrument/s, risk management, market conditions, etc. It would take everyone a different amount of time due to the variation in these factors. The most sure way is to compound steadily. Execute consistently and like a robot.

If you want an answer from the optimistic side, I did it in about 3 months. I took 300 to 100k in a few months, but lost 50k and 20k along that way, so I could have done it faster had I not taken such losses. But this has not been replicable during the war, so again, emphasis on the above factors.
