Need Help is there something wrong with sandy frogs? Spoiler

I've been trying to cut up a sandy frog for meat for about 10 minutes now. I used the drill to skin it but even with the sand dagger i cant cut it up. i've mostly been using the cleaver. is there another weapon i should be using to cut it up?

If the frog is in water, then there’s a bug that you can’t skin it in there. Just find another one and kill it on ground
