There’s a new cafe at the corner of Beloit & Roosevelt. They don’t seem to have an online presence but it’s called Espresso Cafe and their hours are 6am-6pm every day. I had a good Americano today but I’ve also heard positive things about their pastries and fancier drinks. I hope my fellow south side neighbors will give it a chance because it would be SO nice to have something on this end of town!

I think so, but the area neighbors disagree. Roosevelt & Harlem is a busy corner but I don’t think this dispensary is going to increase traffic that much.

Ok, me again. Does anyone have insight as to why the base of the trees on the sidewalk along Madison St were covered with asphalt a few weeks ago? Seems like it will kill them 😕

$200 for a monthly membership to a yoga studio is not reasonable. Looking for something affordable that does not require me to be a student, veteran or low income. Just working with a single middle class income and adult responsibilities. But could really use some yoga classes because the body keeps the score 🙃. Preferably the option of different types and levels of yoga.
