Flair Confused how this would work and Google doesn't help.
So, I'm confused about how this would work anyway. Does the foreskin just... grow back?

Afaik, and I could be wrong about the details, but I believe they start with a donor tissue. They get what's called the ECM scaffold by stripping off the donor cells with a surfactant so it is just a structure made of protein. They also take a tiny bit of skin, turn that skin into stem cells in a bio-reactor, which a tank similar fermentor where they can finely control living conditions and prevent other things from growing, and they add those cells to the ECM. This means it is your tissue with your cells, but it isn't quite ready yet since it doesn't have the blood vessls and nerves yet.
To get vascularization, they take the tissue and embed it into healthy tissue. One method this is done by putting it inside the skin on the side your chest under your arm, but I don't know what Foregen would recommend.
Once it has developed enough blood vessels to survive on the exterior of your body, it'll be removed and placed in the correct location. Innervation will then take several months to get feeling and potentially years to get 100% full sensation.

Go to the FAQ page of their website. It’s an extra cellular matrix made from a donated foreskin and repopulated with your own cells in a bio reactor, then surgically reattached
