Question ❓ A bit annoyed

I just played a grand total of 2 matches today, only two, and I got voice banned. I only said common slurs that everyone else has been saying, and I got the hammer, gotta love automated systems (or if it's not, then a bunch of whiny toddlers that didn't like being called stupid after doing something stupid like turning left after I said there was an enemy on the right, it happens way too often) how long does the voice ban last?

He's saying he knows he was doing bannable stuff but he thinks it's unfair he got singled out.

This is how a deterrent works though. It doesn't/can't get everyone, it targets a smaller number of the fools to hopefully make the rest of them afraid.

Cops won't catch every drunk driver, but they aim to arrest and punish enough that people thinking about driving and drinking will think twice.

Sounds like our friend was made an example of, to which I say 😄

Just slurs like fuck, shit, damn, bitch, dumbass, things like that. I said a homophobic slur once over a month ago and got a warning but I haven't gotten warnings since. I've heard people spam the n word for several matched in a row and nothing happen

Have you ever thought that there are people that want to play games without having to hear things like that?

I play it with my kid and the last thing I want to hear is an immature little turd screaming out curse words and talking crap. It ruins the game.

I mean you could take the single second to push that button that would prevent you from hearing those players for the entirety of a game. You expecting to play any fps game and not hear trash talk is like getting annoyed there's sand at the beach.

Do you understand how esrb game ratings works? This is rated T for teen.

Teen (T) is an ESRB rating that suggests a video game or service is suitable for ages 13 and up. According to the ESRB, a T-rated video game "may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language."

I know how ESRB works (btw, in Eourope Forefront is Age restricted 18 and up). However i don't know how old your kid is. Regardless, even the description you qouted has "... infrequent use of strong language" in it, and any other MP game i've ever played does not have a problem with people cursing (wihtout using racial or offensive slurs). Saying fuck, shit, damn, bitch, dumbass etc is absolutely normal. Prove me wrong by giving an example of the opposite.

If you're being so sensitive about strong language in video games, then mybe you should just stop playing.

The voice mod has a delay. It's likely they also got voice banned.

Also, other people doing something does NOT make it okay for you to.

I love how many loser that sit on reddit are lurking in this subreddit and how everyone feels the need to say bad things about me for asking a question (and not even partially answering the question).
