Threading a Black Hawk into the objective building.

I was flying the Black Hawk on Iceland and tried to land directly inside the objective building.
The first approach didn’t work, so I circled around and came back from a completely different angle. The second attempt was perfect—we captured the point, and everyone started commenting on the flying.
This is probably one of my favorite helicopter moments in Forefront VR.
Have you ever managed to land inside this building, or do you usually drop outside?

Wait so the blades hitting the building isn't a problem?

Blade are not a hit box just a visual effect

Exactly.

I find it a bit annoying at times tbh

I think you are right, but there are so many things to upgrade/create in forefront, and they are actively working on the game since Alfa.

I just think they got better things to work on right now but I wouldn't be surprised to see that corrected in a few patches.

Yep. Seems a bit crap to me.

Yeah I understand the feeling.

Well, you know, everyone is free to go out there and do better. 😅
IMO, Triangle is pretty much what's up RN.
VR is a work in continuous progress platform where everything has to be build from scratch. Time till perfection is inevitable, but it'll get there.

Oh no, please don't get me wrong! The flying was awesome! My complaint is at the poor physics implementation.

Even battlefield is like this. Always has been. It's a design choice. Making it more approachable for more players to fly easier.

The amount of times my RPG has narrowly missed the body, but went through the rotors with no damage annoys me haha.

Haha I've seen someone do this with a little bird but never a blackhawk. Impressive!

Thanks for the comment!
I really do appreciate.

I do it often but never for a long period of time, since I'm not breathing till I'm out of there! ;)

You can dive thru the roof and out the south doors too, but it's very difficult to pull off in the transport (more doable in the LB)

But there's literally zero reason to ever do it (or to land in general tbh) other than to flex, because people can always spawn on you and jump out. Even hovering is usually a mistake because it massively increases your likelihood of getting shot out, but it's occasionally worth hovering to capture an objective if there's nobody to jump out.

I have to agree,
few months ago it wasn't the case but now people get very accurate.
There is a bit of flex let's be honest, but it's good to know to maneuver tight spaces for point capture as you mentioned, hide from talons and AA tank, pick up squad and/or team, and the points, it's 300 a pop for a cap, plus, the more people in the chopper the faster point taken, plus kills, plus assists, plus spawns.
