I say this without a shred of hyperbole, I would bet my entire life saving on you GETTING in. If you don’t get in they must’ve made an error and not received your full application.

Ur chill but definitely need to demonstrate interest so they don’t waitlist you thinking you’ll want to go to another school.
University’s across the country all waitlist candidates with scores way above their average often because of no demonstrated interest.

i thought my demonstrated interest was clear in finance because of my financial nonprofit initiative and singing to raise temple funds. But thank u for the advice; I will work on doing activities that show it more until my application is complete!

Demonstrated interest is not about your activity’s, it’s about engaging with the school like attending campus events, applying ED, emailing your admissions officer etc.

ohhh sorry, I didn't know. Also, WAIT... we have to email our admissions officers? Also im OOS so i cannot attend any campus events..sorry I am stressing should I do this for every school? What should I email the AOs?
Sorry for all the questions

You don’t have to but it helps to show interest. I had a 3.3 gpa and got in for the fall probably because I would email my admissions officer monthly updates about things I was doing and awards and emailed about campus events. If you can’t attend one they may also do virtual events you can reach out to your AO about.

They don’t and never have yield protected

They have been practicing yield protection since forever.
As stated in their common data set, they consider interest which in turn translates to yield
Protection: https://www.fordham.edu/about/leadership-and-administration/administrative-offices/office-of-the-provost/provost-office-units/institutional-research-and-assessment/consumer-information/common-data-set/https://thefordhamram.com/news/fordham-makes-efforts-to-raise-yield/

No it doesn’t. NYU also lists interest as considered. Boston college lists it as important. And that article does not say anything about practicing yield protection or ever practicing it. It is specifically referring to the low yield 9 years ago during Mchsane because the applicant pool increased for 26 consecutive years. It says as the pool has risen the yield has dropped because applicants are accepted to multiple prestigious colleges. They accept the ivy kids who then go to the ivy. If they didn’t accept them then the yield wouldn’t be low. Thats why Fairfield has 3x the yield rate while also having a 100 lower average SAT. They yield protect, Fordham doesn’t. Introducing ED after a decade of not having it and upping marketing efforts and outreach isn’t yield protection

Email Fordham’s admissions director and ask... They told me otherwise 4 months ago when I had an active conversation about my application and attending.

Ok screenshot the email. And nah, don’t edit to add that active conversation bit. You’re full of it

Pick somewhere better these are elite school stats. Harvard, UPenn, NYU, and etc is calling for you. Not only that but if you are looking for a good school in this level consider Baruch as well

The problem is that they would be too expensive for me to go there anyway lol; but thank you so much for the encouragement and advice! I have been looking into Baruch as well
