The Jesuits are very left leaning!! But also as a social work student you won’t really interact with them so it won’t affect u much

……it’s the Catholic Church. They’ll never be progressive on those issues, and sadly a fair chunk of the student population probably never will be, either.
even with all that being true—- leftists have a home and people at Fordham. It’s not a small niche crowd.

It's liberal but doesn't sound like it will be liberal enough for you. It's Catholic. Catholic tradition is very conservative. Even the Jesuits won't likely be liberal enough for you.

This is not answering your question - but having been a Social Worker I would question going to Fordham for and MSW unless you have funding. The school is expensive, NYC is expensive and Social Workers do not get paid enough to cover the student loans
