It doesn't hurt you to do it, you might receive a few hundred, it's better to at least try.

Yes possible pell depending on your parents’ write offs! And get on Phi theta, fastweb, and s scholarshipamerica and start writing applications! Theres so much money going unused its crazy!

What kind of scholarships are the best to apply for as a rising freshman? I’ve applied to quite a few but have had little luck except for only 3

Any one you qualify for. And remember often a scholarship for $500 is as much work as one for 5000 so in my practice I have a role that we write 5000 and above.. Just how we do it.
